| A Great Solid hidden tang Knife for large time period as well as camp use.. those that favor traditional forged work and or history..Blades such as this have been around well before the 18th century and went well into the late 19th century...A great Functional period style piece.. Great for many uses... Forged from 1095 high carbon steel... Pattern and patina aged blade. Blade is about 1 7/16” inches wide at widest point.... Tang is about 3/16” after handle tapering to tip. Handle Material is Beautiful aged Elk Crown Stag with 2 mid sized primitive style Steel pins. (peen, hammer marks left in pins) Forward haft of stag handle has been wrapped (hafted) with brain tan deer skin that has been aged and selaed.. Hand stitched high aged leather high ride belt sheath will fit a Belt Sheath Will fit a belt up to 3” inches wide..
