Possible Bags
(518) 843-7216
Traditionally these bags were carried as a side bag and essentials were carried inside the bag for black powder
essentials.  Such as extra round ball, patch, maybe a folding knife, extra flint, ball lube, maybe some tools for your
smoke pole.  I have seen originals in different shapes and fashions.  These bags are not only period for a large time
span but also fully functional and I have found them very useful for hunting, hiking, or if you love traditional work.

If your new to my website or not familiar with how these are made a little info.  These are not made in a foreign land.
Everything you see is 100% hand worked in my shop.  Every stitch is done by hand, the leather is aged and dyed with
natural home made dyes and stains. These bags are either lined with traditional material such as linen or pillow ticking
or left unlined.  Straps are made from sturdy leather either one piece or an adjustable strap with brass hardware.
Buttons are made from horn, bone or pewter.  The lacing you see on some of the bags are cut by hand
as well.  Sizes on bags range and each are unique and individual from the last so you will get a bag that is individual
to you. I believe this personal touch is very important not only in every blade I touch but as well as everything I make.
prices start at 150.00 plus shipping for a basic bag unlined one piece strap 8" x 9"  small inside pocket.
